Linguistics hosts a number of email lists for discussion of matters related to departmental research interests and also for administrative purposes. - An-lang Austronesian languages list: This list is for the discussion of all matters related to Austronesian languages and linguistics. It has been in operation since 1995.
- Arcling Archaeology and Linguistics: This list is dedicated to the interface between archaeology and historical linguistics. Topics for discussion include theoretical issues relating to the archaeology/historical linguistics interface as such, and also issues associated with the archaeology and history of particular language families.
