Lexicon Development
A major part of the project's lexicon development will go into composing a lexicon as part of the electronic grammar development. This lexicon will contain information specific to LFG, the grammar formalism in use, to be used within XLE, the Xerox linguistic tools for grammar development. However, we will be able to leverage the product of this to create other lexical resources, such as word lists of fully inflected form as well as stems, which contain relevant information such as part-of-speech.
