Global Festival of Asia Pacific Language and Culture Education

What’s happening in Language and Culture education in 2020? How are university language and culture education programs responding to the impact of COVID-19?

To investigate these issues the School of Culture History and Language (CHL) at the Australian National University (ANU) is holding an online event series in 2020 to promote innovative practice in Asian and Pacific language and culture education. This event builds on the work started by the ANU Innovative Asian Pacific language Education symposium event held in 2019.

This year’s Global Festival will include a series of online events including lectures, symposiums, workshops, and round table discussions. It is hoped that the diversity of presentations and ways in which the events are held will also help to show how Language and Culture Education is innovating around the world in order to overcome the global challenges facing us all.
