It might be a new year, but let’s get real—we are still going to work within the parameters of the new normal. With stringent measures for face-to-face events on campus, along with the absence of a CHL Events Coordinator, CHL recently revamped its events protocol and planning mechanism and launched an all-new Events Protocol.
If you are planning any events—face to face or otherwise—and need CHL Admin and Marketing support your, starting point is the CHL Events Protocol form. In line with the CHL Purchasing Protocols, this form serves as a business case for requesting CHL resources to support your event. It is a necessary first step in planning your event.
The processes designed in this protocol—including the date request procedure and the necessity to submit a request at least 8 weeks ahead of the proposed event date—will ensure that your event avoids unnecessary conflicts and that it is promoted and supported in the most effective way. While events remain a critical aspect of the School’s engagement and education activities, this process is necessary to ensure that our allocation of resources achieves the greatest impact.
