Christina is currently a PhD Candidate at the School of Culture History and Language. She majored in Chinese, Chinese Studies and Spanish at ANU and has also studied at Southeast University in Nanjing and Middlebury College in VA, U.S. Her research interests include fiction, literary translation, late-imperial Chinese history, Manchu culture, Hongloumeng. She has translated a collection of essays by the contemporary Hong Kong poet Xi Xi and is working on completing the translation of the Qing memoir Tracks in the Snow.
