- ANU Japanese Studies Online - The ANU Japan Institute has launched a new E-Journal of Japanese Studies called ANU Japanese Studies Online. This is a multi-discipline, refereed journal on contemporary Japan, carrying articles from 5,000-8,000 words.
- Asia Pacific Journal of Anthropology (TAPJA) publishes contemporary research in social and cultural anthropology relating to the Asia-Pacific region, and particularly welcomes papers that bring anthropological perspectives and ethnographic data to bear on contemporary debates.
- Asian Studies Review is the flagship publication of the Asian Studies Association of Australia and is a multidisciplinary journal that adopts a critical approach to studies of modern Asia, including established disciplines as well as newly emerging areas of research.
- China Heritage Quarterly covers recent developments and scholarship in areas related to China's heritage.
- Chinese Southern Diaspora Studies is a multidisciplinary annual journal, in English and Chinese, that focuses exclusively on the Chinese southern diaspora (Southeast Asia to the Southwest Pacific), past and present.
- East Asian History is an internationally recognised peer-reviewed English-language journal that disseminates historical research on China, Korea, Japan and Vietnam.
- Intersections is an electronic journal that emphasises the paramount importance of research into the multiple historical and cultural, gender and sexuality patterns in Asian and the Pacific-patterns that are crucial for the understanding of contemporary globalised societies.
- Journal of the Southeast Asian Linguistics Society (JSEALS) is the peer-reviewed journal of the Southeast Asian Linguistics Society and is devoted to research on the languages of mainland and insular Southeast Asia.
- Journal of Pacific History is an internationally refereed journal dedicated to the study of Pacific Island pasts.
- Review of Indonesian and Malaysian Affairs is Australia's leading refereed journal dealing with a broad range of cultural and historical issues in Indonesia, Malaysia and neighbouring countries.
Monograph Series
- The Asian Studies Series of ANU E Press publishes monographs and edited volumes online. This series continues the ANU Faculty of Asian Studies monograph series on Asian Studies.
- Pacific Linguistics is the major international publisher of books on the indigenous languages of the western Pacific, particularly the Pacific Islands, Australia and South-East Asia.
- Terra Australis is a fully refereed monograph series and is published electronically on ANU E-Press
