Terra Australis
Terra Australis has been published by Archaeology and Natural History at the ANU for over 30 years and has a reputation internationally for high quality data rich publications in archaeology. Terra Australis is a fully refereed monograph series and is published electronically on ANU E-Press, some of which receive up to 15,000 hits per year. They can be downloaded as high quality pdfs or low resolution by chapter, which enables students in SE Asia, PNG and the Pacific to access them even if they have very basic computers. While this does not produce 'sales', the E publishing has increased our citations for our work and ANUs impact enormously. Each Terra Australis is sent to all international archaeology journals and reviews usually appear in between 3 and 5 journals.
