Student outreach

The School of Culture, History & Language offers a range of resources to the public through its outreach programs. The programs provide access to the university's world-class teaching and research in the field of Asia-Pacific Studies. The School's outreach activity includes the following:

ANU EngageAsia : A host of activities for high school teachers and their students to engage with Asia and the Pacific, including Asia Pacific Day, language immersion workshops and secondary extension classes.

Pasifika Australia A community of ANU students and staff who are passionate about equity, educational and identity issues facing Pacific communities and Pacific students in Australia. Annual workshops include Youth weekend and Vaka Pasifika.

ACT Japanese language speech contest

Now in its 45th year, this contest aims to encourage Japanese language learners to showcase their language skills in a challenging context. Apply for the 2014 competition. Application deadline is September 14, 2014.For more information please email:
