Gouri is the Communications and Outreach Coordinator at the ANU School of Culture, History & Language (CHL). As a passionate storyteller, Gouri is driven to represent CHL and showcase its excellence in research, academia and field experience. From academics and alumni achievements to student stories and milestones, she brings the CHL family's work and passions to life through words.

Prior to working at ANU, she was the Communications and Marketing Manager at Diabetes Australia. Her professional journey in Australia began in 2016, soon after she migrated here from India. Her first job in Australia was with a children's education startup, where she developed content for children's learning games, e-books, activities and songs.

She brings years of content development and communications experience from India, where she worked in multiple, versatile roles at Encyclopedia Britannica, Penguin Publishers, EY, and KPMG, among others.

As an experienced professional with 21+ years of experience in content, communication and project management, Gouri is adept at communication strategy across industry, content quality assurance and development, research writing and editing, editorial management, and creative writing.

According to Gouri, life's a musical composition, and she loves to infuse melody in it as an integral part of the communications orchestra, where strings and tunes bring harmony to create magical messages. Please get in touch with her for any stories, experiences and anecdotes you'd like her to put into words and share across the larger ANU community!
