Eboni is a PhD student in the Department of Archaeology and Natural History within the School of Culture, History & Language. Her PhD research focuses on using zooarchaeological methods to investigate complex Neanderthal behaviour. Within the realm of Neanderthal archaeology, Eboni specialises in the Middle Palaeolithic era with a geographical interest in the Iberian Peninsula and southern France.
Research Interest
Eboni's research interest lies in using zooarchaeological practices to interpret evidence of complex behaviour in Neanderthals. This research interest stems from a broader fascination with human evolution and a desire to de-construct the "Human Superiority Complex" to re-assess our place in the "larger-than-human" world.
