Indonesian Studies

The Southeast Asian region is one of the fast-growing economies in the world. Indonesia plays an increasingly significant role in this region and globally. Indonesia has been, and will always be, a country of high strategic importance not only for Australia but also for other countries. Learning about this country and its culture, history, evolution and language, therefore, means gaining first-hand insight on Indonesia. Such insight is much needed in an increasingly globalised economy, providing the edge in highly competitive job markets in the 21st Asian century.
