Namatullah Kadrie is a third-year PhD candidate at the School of Culture, History & Language (CHL) at the Australian National University. His doctoral research critically examines the Hazaristan conquest during the 19th century as an instance of extreme mass violence. Namatullah holds a Bachelor of Communication (Journalism) with Distinction.

Research Interest

My research interests are Afghanistan history and historiography, genocide and mass atrocity studies, and marginalised histories.
